These terms govern your use of the JBS Workbench prototype ("the Service"). Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Eligibility & provisioning
Access is restricted to staff, analysts, and administrators provisioned by a participating pilot agency. Your agency administrator is responsible for assigning roles and revoking access when your engagement ends.
Acceptable use
- Submit decision capture records based on your own observations and reasoning.
- Do not enter records on behalf of another staff member.
- Do not attempt to circumvent capture-window expiry, velocity flags, or triangulation alerts.
- Do not include personally identifying information about subjects beyond what your agency policy permits.
Record integrity
Capture timestamps are server-issued and authoritative. Records become immutable once Completed, Expired, or Closed-Out. Status changes and analyst dispositions are audited with attribution. Any attempt to manipulate timestamps or bulk-submit records will be flagged and reviewed.
Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Notify your agency administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Passwords must be at least 12 characters and are screened against known compromised-credential databases.
Service availability
The Service is provided as a research prototype. We make reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee uptime, and we may perform maintenance or schema changes during the pilot.
Data ownership
Captured records belong to the agency that submitted them. Lean Engineering processes data on behalf of the agency for the purpose of operating the workbench, surfacing patterns, and supporting analyst reconstruction.
Termination
Your agency administrator may revoke your roles at any time, immediately ending your access. Records you submitted during your engagement are retained as part of the agency's audit trail.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms during the pilot. Material changes will be communicated through your agency administrator before they take effect.
